If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you specific rights over your personal information.
Categories we collect. In the twelve months preceding the date of this policy we have collected: identifiers, meaning name, email address, phone number, account credentials and IP address; commercial information, meaning your plan, reservation requests and booking history; and internet or network activity, meaning pages visited, actions taken on the Website, and device and browser information. We collect this information directly from you and automatically when you use the Website.
Purposes and disclosure. These categories are used for the purposes described in section 4, and disclosed only to the recipients listed in section 5: restaurants and other providers involved in your bookings, payment processors, hosting and technical providers, and legal authorities where required by law.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the twelve months preceding the date of this policy.
Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted without a right to limit under California law.
Your rights. You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You also have the right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
How to exercise them. Two methods are available: send an email to contact@assistom.com with “California privacy request” in the subject line, or use the contact form on our Contact page.
Verification. We will ask you to confirm information that matches our records, such as the email address associated with your account. We respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where necessary, and we will tell you if we need the extension.
Authorised agent. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorisation and ask you to verify your identity directly.
